So I just watched The Magic Faraway Tree on my streaming service. I heard about it 3-4 weeks ago and have been meaning to watch it because I loved The Enchanted Wood, The Magic Faraway Tree and The Folk of the Faraway Tree books when I was younger. I was born in the early 80’s and Enid Blyton’s books were great for escapism, imagination and overall fun.
More and more, the internet seems to be getting censored and George Orwell’s Newspeak is being adopted. People are creating content then mass distributing it to various platforms, seem of which penalise or demonitise the material, just because it contains certain words. I find this downright pathetic and deplorable.

Now that I have set the mood with the above quotes, I can reveal that I am getting ever tired of hearing the word “Islamophobic” in the public sphere from left-wing “journalists” who are rabble-rousing and virtue signalling to the masses for attention whenever someone who has a dislike, a distrust or hatred of the activities of Muslims who are faithfully following the edicts of their religion.
